A Message From Our Leader!

Leaders Benefactors and Fellows!

Hope that this summer has been a bit relaxing for you and your families in such busy times!  It sure seems like things never slow down but we are fortunate to be able to be involved in so much.

We have not had a newsletter in a few months and it’s time to brief the organization on what the leadership team has been working hard on.  First off we have brought 9 amazing fellows onboard this year and all had the opportunity to go to LeaderShape this summer.  The comments from some of the fellows I have heard from were just as great as previous years.  LeaderShape sent us a video of some of our students there at the camp and you can view it on our website www.ketteringleaders.com.  Great work by Ben Rohrs, from all the way out west in San Francisco, working with those on the selection committee to choose excellent applicants!  Since the students have been at LeaderShape, Kirsten Billhardt has been very dedicated to seeing through the vision development from the students perspective.

Over the years our benefactors have provided such a strong commitment to the organization with their pledges and several have completed significant contributions.  For this another new project is in the works with Stacy Gardner to award those donors with a thank you…more information to come!

And finally, we have Deese Weekend fast approaching.  It’s an exciting time of the year and the only opportunity we have to get together as an organization.  Sure hope that you will be able to attend and look forward to seeing all there!

To close, I would like to emphasize the need for a new wave of volunteers to take charge of the LEADERS endowment.  We are focusing on the fall elections that will help us put enthusiastic volunteers in the positions up for election.  Please consider helping out with fresh thinking and new energy!
