Leadership development is what LEADERS is all about. We believe leaders are created and only hard work, wise guidance, and continuous training can our fellows hope to achieve their leader potential.

Kirsten Billhardt is our current Fellow Vision Development Chair. She has worked tirelessly this year to ensure that every mentor/mentee are generating the very best visions and that they are implemented well on campus. Without her help and experience the impact of our fellow’s visions would not be as great on campus.

Sam Cooper is our current Leadership Development Chair. Sam has cut his teeth on campus helping to create the ever successful PAAC program under Dawn Bartlett’s oversight. Bringing his development skill to LEADERS Sam leads our on campus leadership presentations. The impact of his programming helps ensure our presence on campus and provides great extracurricular opportunities for all students.

Our official development opportunities provided are as follows:

1. LeaderShape: off campus immersion leadership vision development retreat
   
2. Benefactor Mentor: one-on-one pairing of student/alumni to provide intensive guidance
3. Deese Weekend: weekend leadership retreat for current and graduated LEADER’s members
4. Campus Wide leadership presentation: A/B section speaker presentations
